Episode 51: Farewell Mirrorman
Mr.Ishida ,looking back on those days,said," Mirrorman was an adolescent scene to me.When all episodes were finished, I need not go to the studio,Tokyo Art Center and I could not see all SGM members I saw everyday -this gave me a little solitary feeling. But Mirrorman was obviously the best step of my career. " Actually he received many letters from his fans,surprised to see
the big inflences of Mirrorman ;some of them shared the same feeling with Kyotaro, others were encouraged by Kyotaro's brave spirits.There was an very important message to all generations in the program.
In the end of this program,Episode 51,Miss.Takako Sawai so wonderfully acted the last scene that it was highly estimated as the best of all SF TV programs.
Mirrorman returned to his homeland,but he left many nice messages to us.Sometimes when you feel alone and sad,you watch Mirrorman and will find the Mirrorman's pendant in your heart.That is why Mirrorman is great.
石田信之氏は当時を振り返り”ミラーマンは自分にとって青春の一シーンであった。全部の話の収録が終わると東京アートセンターにもう来ることはなくなり、毎日あったメンバーに会えなくなると思うと寂しい思いがした。しかしミラーマンは自分のキャリアの最高のステップだった。”と語っている。事実彼は多くのファンからの便りを受けており、ミラーマンの影響に大変驚かされた。その中には京太郎と同じような感情を共有する人もおり、また京太郎の勇敢な精神に感銘を受けた者もいた。この番組には世代を超えた大変重要なメッセージがあるのだ。
５１話最終回は沢井孝子氏がラストシーンを素晴らしく演じておりこれはＳＦのテレビ番組で最高の一つと見なされている。ミラーマンは故郷に戻っていたが、貴方が孤独で寂しい思いをしたらミラーマンを見、心の中でミラーマンのペンダントを見つけてほしい。それだから、ミラーマンが偉大といえるのである。

In SGM.they were in serious siuation;there were only 5days before the planet X collided the earth.What was worse, Kaijyu Eleki Zaurus destroied the most parts of the bastment ,located Anti Gravity Device. Dr.Mitarai dispatched Jambo Phoenix to be alert to emerge Kaijyus.also commanded Kyotaro and Asako to patrol in city. When Kyotaro and Asako were looking down the city view from Tokyo tower,human type invaders appeared and attcked them. Some of them ran away but the rest transformed into Kaijyu,Dead King.

Dead King proceeded ,destroying buildings.It spilt out high heat fire from its mouth.Kyotaro had to hurry to transform into Mirrorman,
so he made Asako to stay in a safe rest room.The moment he transformed, Asako saw the decisive scene she should not see - Kyotaro was Mirrorman! Asako was totally shocked to see the truth. Kyotaro returned to Asako. Asako said,"Kyotaro-san, you are Mirrorman, are nt you?" Kyoraro,as if he got Tunami, was totally disgouraged to hear her vioce. And he fell down to the ground.
On the other hand,Dr.Mitarai shouted,"All the people of the earth ,please calm down.Please keep peace in their hearts" Dr.Mitarai's requests were accepted by a large number of people. Gradually they resumed thier self control.

The anti gravity device was repaired ,and about within 10 minitues, it was supposed to disperse the anti gravity ray.but, the alert buzzer roared.The kaijyus ,Eleki Zaurus and Dead King ,accompanied with invaders' spaceships ,appeared .It was a tough battle for SGM to cope with both of them.Murakami shouted "Dr.Mitarai! Jambo Phoenix can not attack both of them!"Kotaro ,hearing his voice,decided to fight with two kaijyus.Asako strongly stopped Kyotaro to go ,standing in front of him. Kyotaro said ," I was born as Mirrorman to keep peace of the earth.That is my destiny.I go ." He transformed himself into Mirrorman.Asako burst into tears.

Mirrorman begun to fight bravely,but it was a very hard battle for him to fight with both .When Mirrorman hit Eleki Zaurus ,another Dead King approched to the Anti-Gravity device.Mirrorman went and came between two kaijyus aagin and again. With Miracle Kick,Mirrorman terminated the battle of EleKi Zaurus ,but his energy timer let him know the limit of energy.Mirrorman made up his mind to use Silver Closs ,but it meant the possibility of his death.God only knew his fate.Finally he dispersed Silver Closs! When the ballte finished ,both of Kaiju and Mirrorman seemed to explode! How was Mirrorman's fate?
On the top of a hill side,there were two figures of person.Thery were Dr.Mitarai and surprisingly Kyotaro!! Yes! God helped Kyotaro,saved his life. Dr,Mitarai said quietly " With your help,the earth resumed its peace.Thank you ,Kyotaro-kun.Asako is waiting for you." No sooner had they left the hill, in the high sky ,there appeared Kyotaro's father. He said," Kyotaro,You have another mission.You return and rebuild the world of 2 nd dimension Invaders destroyed .Dr.Mitarai ,Please,please make him to return to our world." Dr.mitarai with much regret,but firmly said," Yes,willingly we send him to your home land."
"Kuotaro-kun,do your best!"

At a sea side, the sun was about to set in the horizon. Asako was waiting for Kyotaro to come back. From her back, the hands gently shaded Asako’s eyes, Asako, toughing the hands,shouted“Kyoraro-san! You ve come back to me!”Kyotaro slightly slanted his neck, ”It is the time to say farewell to you” Asako was totally confused,” why” But Kyotaro,looking at Asako's eyes, quietly said” I will remember you forever”He took pendant of his father’s legacy from his neck, and threw it to the sky.“Mirror Spark!” the last words shouted, the steaming light particles with his figure disappeared . Farewell,Mirrorman! Dr.Miratai sadly said and SGM members saw him off silently.
Thus, Mirrorman, completed his mission ,returned to his homeland. But if invaders came back, Mirriorman surely would return to the earth. Farewell Mirriorman….someday we will see you.
