Episode 1:Mirrorman birth
This episode is the openning of Mirrorman's story.It is directed by Mr.Ishiro Honda who is respected as "The god of Japanese S.F movies" and well-known the director of "Godilla". The openning is the memorable one ,made up of all the new heroes,i.e the staffs and actors from such eminent movie companies as Toho, Daiei,Toei,and so on.Unlike Ultraman series,the Mirrorman's story vividly shows the movement of human minds and emotion.Every episode has its chracteristics of human joy,sorrow,struggle and anger.In the sense,the Mirrorman is the story of human being. The hero is Mr.Nobuyuki Ishida who overcame much hardships before he became an actor.Let's see his young performance!

このエピソードはミラーマンのオープニングである。”日本ＳＦの神”として敬われ、有名なゴジラの監督の本多猪四郎である。オープニングは記念すべきもので、東宝、大映などの素晴らしい映画会社のスタッフや俳優からなるメンバーで構成されていた。ウルトラマンのシリーズとは異なり、ミラーマンの物語は人の心や感情を鮮明に描いている。各々のエピソードは人間の喜びや悲しみ、葛藤、怒りの特徴を持っている。その意味ではミラーマンは人間の物語である。ヒーローは役者になる前に多くの苦難を乗り越えてきた石田信之氏である。彼の演技を見てみよう！

In the 1980s, abnormal phenomena often occurred in all of the world Dr. Mitarai, the international astrophysical authority warned that the signs were a crisis of the earth.He organized an investigation organization S.G.M(Science Guard Members) and built the research institute in the basement of the own residence.
One day Kyotaro was injured by a strange phenomenon during the research of mysterious tornado,but he found some sparkle of a mysterious mirror helped him .Fujimoto of SGM came over to the survey of the tornado damage , continuing further analysis at the SGM basement.

Unfortunately, his father lost his life by the stratagem of the invaders. Miratai told Kyotaro was inherited the power as the Mirror man from father, too. Though Kyotaro was much confused, his father sent a message ,"you fight against invaders as a mirror man on behalf of me".
Iron 's power was enormous,its skin is alike that of iron. Also it spit out
mysterious ray. Mirrorman puched again and
again,refrectiing its attcks with defence-mirror.

A photographer, Kyotaro Kagami, of a newspaper publisher was taken over after death of mother, Yuko Kagami who was an assistant of Dr. Mitarai. Dr.Mirarai brought up Kyotaro in the same house as a member of his family.

On the film which Kyoto Taro photographed, a mystery person never seen in the tornado area appeared. Hearing a story of Kyotaro, Dr.Mitarai decided to talk about his natal secret.;the father of Kyotaro "was “Mirrorman" who came over from the different dimension world (2nd dimensions) to defend the earth against Invaders .

The invaders hit him again to recaptures the film. Surprisingly the invaders transformed themselves into a huge monster,"Iron".Kyotaro heard his father’s voice and transformed himself into a mirror man!

The Iron 's merclessl attcks tortured MIrrorman .Mirrorman somtimes got down into the pinch! The moment,Kyotaro's father said to him." You use Mirror kinife ,your power weapon!" Kyotaro get his hands staraight , to see the light arrows fying to Iron!
Iron got the sword of justice. Finally Mirrorman laid the monster on the ground !
